Yes! It looks alot better now. Just one more question and I'll leave you alone with this (hopefully  )
Would it be possible to mod the code so that it makes all the video images the same size? I ask because I noticed that when you told me to change the top value in the .youtube_thumb img to 18px to get the nice even borders, that with one video the image would cover the Xtreme Elites Text, but with others it wouldn't. I changed it back to 10px, and none of the vids cover the text, but they don't have those nice even borders they had. So I was wondering if this was possible?

The image is the same size for all vids. Some of the thumbnails will have the black bars above and below just like on dvds, movies if they are in widescreen format. Test with a "full screen" video like the one in my first post. Or that vid on the top right is full screen.
The red border is the outline of the actual thumbnails.

Ahh I see. Hmm, but then there would be no way for me to control what type of video I get right? It would depend on how the hoster uploaded that vid. Would there be anything else I could do?

The thumbnail image is created by YouTube. I'm not adding the black bars. The only thing I did is change the height which sets the width proportionaly (keeps the aspect ratio). So no. You have no control over it. The only way is for you to make your own thumbnail and manually put it in a post as an image link to the vid. lol

When you say "You may add a border to the CSS without any issues.", where, if I may ask, where is it? I've tried it and it shows nothing.
Note: Is the border suppose to go all the way around the thumbnail image?

Thanks OJ for the input, but tried that with a light background with no affect of seeing any kind of border. Was looking for a border tho, that is somewhat like yours, and if I may add, SHARP it is!

Oh no see, those red borders aren't really there. Sub took a ss of my thread where HE put the borders to show me where the borders are supposed to be. But who knows, you might be able to put borders like that.

Ok folks, since, it seems everyone wants it more customizable, I TOTALLY changed the code. Now, you can specify the small logo image URL and with the new CSS you can position, size, add borders etc to the actual thumbnail image and the logo image. If you replace your current code (if you have it default), you will not see any visual differences. But, it will be ready if you wish to customize it in the future.

I missed what the fuss is about.
It seems this code has been customized even more than the original. I like how this has turned out, judging from the screenshot samples OJ has posted.

Yes Luny. Replace the code I gave you with this one. It will look exactly the same but it is more customizable. I updated the code post with new instructions and a second "black" background image as another option (at the bottom of the post).

Sub isn't around.. Now that the background for the YouTube player has been more customizable, I've thought of something to push it further to the next level. So I'd like to ask this:
If the forum is using different skins, which parts of the code should the If-Else statements be applied? (the entire part)
