InterOcean Designs Global Rules!
The following rules are implemented on the ENTIRE forum, including the Shoutbox.
Coding and Graphics have additional rules that are posted in their respected areas.

Respect ALL Staff Members
The Staff here at IOD is/are a close-knit team and needs to be respected as such.
Bashing or dis-respecting of any IOD Staff member will NOT be tolerated. The staff is here to help you with your needs. Remember, kindness goes a long way.
No Advertising
There shall be no recruiting of members by advertising in posts or private messages! Links to your site are allowed in your Signature and Profile ONLY!
EXCEPTIONS:
A) You may post your forum link if asked by a staff member to do so.
B) Code or Graphics Requests (Your forum link is REQUIRED for requests).
C) You may post your forum link (and any info you wish about your forum) HERE.
Make sure you read the Board Promotion Rules before posting in that board.
D) You may become an affiliate if you meet our qualifications (pending IOD approval).
No Spamming
Spam is any post that makes no sense. This includes one-word or two-word posts like "LOL" or "I agree". Typing in ALL CAPS is also considered as spam.
Any links to commercial sites in your signature will not be tolerated and will be deleted immediately!
No Excessive Foul Language
Use some common sense with this one!
No Flaming
Please respect all members of this site. Disagreements are one thing, insulting others is unacceptable!
Do Not Stretch The Pages
If you find that the links or images that you've posted stretch the page, please modify them or the post may be deleted or modified at the discretion of IOD staff. Using blockquotes within a blockquote or a blockquote around a quote may also cause stretching.
Signatures
Maximum 500px in width and 150px in height.
You may have 1 or more images in your signature, as long at the TOTAL height and width of your images do not exceed the maximums stated above. If the size is exceeded, you will be notified by PM to correct it. If no action is taken within 2 days of notification, the Signature will be deleted.
No Double Posting
If you find that you forgot to add something to your post then use the "Modify" button, that's what it's there for. The only exception to this rule would be bumping a request after you've waited the required 24hrs.
No Thread-Jacking
I really hate adding this rule because so many times we cannot avoid taking a thread into another direction. So basically please use common sense and don't blatantly thread-jack, especially in the Coding and Graphics forums. If your post has absolutely nothing to do with what is being asked or you are not offering any kind of advice or assistance to the original poster then it has no business being in that thread!
English Only
Even though Proboards has changed their TOS to allow non-English sites, all posts made on this forum shall be made in English. Non-English posts will be deleted at the discretion of IOD staff.
Activate your account
Please make sure to activate your member account within 3 months or it will be deleted.
Staff Members
IOD Staff members will follow (but are not subject to) the rules.

Note: The Staff reserves the right to modify these rules at any time!
