Thats aligned vertically as you say, the table is centered so that the image and links appear as they are because otherwise theyd be pushed together on the left. However Ive tried all I can, theres no way to make the links anymore centered than as the table as a whole. I tried using the aligning, no ubbc Ive tried seems to do it.
We again could have 8 links to make them even, but eventually it might get uneven because the truth is the links are supposed to be added to over time: members bring forth links that they think should be put up. This is jsut the beginning so I put up the ones I thought best and appropiate for now.

Are you using an image resize code ?
If so, you could have the image/buttons as it is now but I'd resize the image to the hieght of the buttons and text. If you add a button then you only need to adjust the image resize code..

I dont have any image resize code, last time I fooled around with those bad things happened (imagines pigs flying)
I assume this time youre suggesting subdevos resize code?
Wouldnt that make the image blurry?

I cant get the links anymore centered. I was only able to center it as a whole, any other aligning is useless.

Also, do you guys think that Music Videos and Youtube Artists should be under the same board for music, or under two separate boards ?
hmm the name kinda throws people off I think, music videos is for popular bands/artists, youtube artists is for people/up and coming artists across youtube.

Top or bottom image - is the bottom one darker ? Maybe it's my eyes or my laptop but they look very similar !
Youtube artists ? I've no idea ! I don't really use youtube unless someone sends me something to watch. I didn't even know there were youtube artists ! You're better off waiting for someone younger than myself to answer that one.

Bottom is darker.
Theres alot on youtube.
Alright, though you could probably tell me if you think the board should be on its own or on the same board with music. We had the music board link on the main apge, then inside 2 links: the music videos or popular artists and below it the youtube artists board.
Or hmmm, we could make the youtube artists fall in under the youtube board. I figured it was better under music but perhaps it should simply be a category under youtube :/

Sorry on my part. Been a bit busy this week with work and school.
Bottom (darker) looks better for me.
As for the boards, Youtube Artists should be under Youtube as it can be confused with the Youtube artists, which are not the same as the Popular Artists. So yes Dragon, move the youtube artists under the youtube cat, and leave the music videos or popular artists under the music cat.

The darker one? At first I thought the lighter one was too bright, comparing the two I sortof think the lighter one fits better with the outer forum borders.
Also we have a sort of miniprofile background going, courtesy of Rad for the code, I kinda scribbled the image together from another gradient.

Worked on the music board alot the last 2 days. Got alot of new additions to code in and out, but figured out theres simply too many to add all at once. I figure if I can get 20-25 per letter for now with what I have itd be a good start. Thatd leave me with over 800 or so. (Kinda added alot on the last few letters already, otherwise itd be in the 500s)
Yeah definitely makes more sense now that Ive had someone confirm my suspicion that youtube artists should be under youtube. However, my new idea is that we can put a banner link onto the popular artists/music board, along with any other music things we might collect over time. It would leave things categorized abit more correctly and at the same time keep people who look for the general music artists about more informed on the up and coming artists.
Sheesh, so much work to do D:
I need workers! 
Busy with school myself too. I suppose most everyone else with school has finals about now, mine are this next week by friday. Gotta do an essay by then and a test :/.

I mean the difference is almost unnoticeable, so in the end it wouldn't really matter. So either one works, I just personally liked the darker one.
Oh, and btw... a few posts ago, I mentioned to you something about aligning the external links. This is what I meant:
Of course you would just have to add the "External Links:" text, and with Wormo's Scrolling Div code in place, the borders of the table would be gone. If you can get it to work right like this, I think it would look nicer than what you currently have now.

Weren't you the one that said you wanted the links all in one up and down line because otherwise it looked uneven with only 7 links ?
I proposed it like you have in that image with 7 links in 2 rows and you said that you thought because it was uneven it needed to be like I have it now in one row.
Also its not the scrolling div code that makes the borders go away. Thats a different code.
also when Im not focusing on this essay in a few days, I was thinking of taking down the karma/respect area for a while until we really have a lot of members for it posting.
